    Set in the heart of kirkoswald the feathers is one of two pubs in the village. Renovated in the last few years it now makes for a perfect spot for lunch or dinner.
    Food was good quality and tasty, chips were especially good, although some in my party did think that their pies were under seasoned.
    Prices seems reasonable at just over £10 for a main and £5 for dessert.
    Although it wasn't busy service was slow. food took around 30-40 minutes from being ordered which could be improved upon.

    Overall a good experience and staff were friendly and knowledgeable when asked about their menu which is always helpful.
